The Presbyterian Church of Post Falls, Idaho was organized in 1890 with 15 charter members. Its choir director, Frederick Post, was also the founder of the town. In 1921, the Presbyterians joined with the Methodist congregation to form Community Presbyterian Church. Our current building, used for worship, fellowship, and community events, is still in the heart of the old downtown. Along with a beckoning Celtic-styled cross, the three stained-glass windows at the front of our sanctuary welcome all who enter with a view of God’s creation reminiscent of the magnificent panorama of rivers and trees outside our walls. Community Presbyterian Church is part of the
Presbyterian Church (USA) and the
Presbytery of the Inland Northwest.
